
See the tree on the right?
Well if you come and visit us, you won't any more!

My dad cam over and helped us cut it down and cut it up.
I climbed up the tree and tied a rope to the trunk about 2/3 up.
We then tied the other end to my dad's truck.
He cut a wedge on the side facing the way we wanted it to fall,
then cut it from the back as I pulled with the truck.
Emily and the boys watched with the neighbors at a safe distance behind the tree.
It fell perfectly!

We'll take a better after picture when we've finished clearing it out. We didn't think about pictures until we were done. It would have been fun to have a better before picture (the one above is from Google Maps Street View), and video of it falling.
